Movie Review: Teeth

~Summary~

Dawn grows up in the shadow of a nuclear power plant. In high school, while her biology class studies evolution, she realizes she may have a hidden curse, an "adaptation." She lives with her mom, step-father, and hard-edged step-brother. She likes Tobey, a guy at school, and he likes her. She takes a pledge to remain chaste until marriage, so they date in groups, watch G-rated films, and don't kiss, but the power of teen hormones is great, so temptation beckons.

Dawn has an admirer in Ryan, and when things have an unexpected twist with Tobey, she turns to Ryan for help. Will he be her mythical hero and rescue her? Or can she find her way as her own hero, turning the curse into an asset?

~My Thoughts~

This movie is disturbing and somewhat decent at the same time. It definitely has an original storyline haha. The summary up there paints a nice picture but it doesn't tell you what it’s really about. It’s really about this high school female that has a vagina full of teeth. So whenever something goes in there she doesn't like, those teeth will come out and hurt the person that is taking advantage of her. But when she wants it, all is good.....well, until you piss her off during it then your privates are in trouble haha.

Teeth can be uncomfortable sometimes, like when we first find out about her secret weapon, but for most of this movie me and my friend were laughing, going "wtf?" at certain scenes and dialog. Mainly dialog haha. This can get gory, a lot of penises being ripped off by her lady parts, so that is something to be forewarned about haha. Definitely a movie for 16 year olds and older.

I see this is going to be a short review as there isn't much to the storyline or much I feel like I can talk about because mainly it’s her using her new found weapon to get rid of a lot of douche bags. Even at the end she turns into the "warrior" she's supposed to be. Overall its one movie you just have to watch because of its weirdness.

Gives you a good haunting

Happy Viewing Everybody!

  2. @Katie Cross- It's decent by the filming, the acting, and things like that haha. It isn't a bad movie, it's just got a disturbing little concept.
