I've read the first eight books and currently readintg the last one. The books are fun and goods reads. Though the plots do end up becomeing similar after the six one. But, with nine books that is expected.
Alex Rider, the main character, becomes a fourteen-year-old spy for MI6 after his uncle (who was also a spy) dies. He is a great character. He developes well through the series. You see him go from thinking it was kinda cool being a spy to wanting nothing to do with it. All in a little more then a year.
The action is great. The gadgets that Alex gets (every spy needs his gadgets) are cool. And the villains are great in that villainy kinda way.
I will miss this series and it's characters when I finish the last book. And for the reasons that I stated and for many more I dare you to read this series.
I started reading these books forever ago. They're part of the reason I started writing! Still haven't read the last one. Partially because I don't want the series to end! Hahaha.
