Know Me Better is a Weekly Meme hosted by
I'm A Reader, Not A Writer.
Each week she'll pick 5 questions off of her
author's interview list to answer and invites us to join in on the fun, giving a
way for our readers to get to know us better.
Favorite
restaurant?
A: Wow, okay hard one haha. Uh,
I’ll have to say Applebee’s. The food is very tasty, there’s a variety, and I have
really enjoyed going the last two times with my amazing man!
T: I, too, have to say Applebee’s. I
love their bourbon street steak. It’s really good.
What is your view on self publishing?
A: I’m all for it, as I am one
myself! Woohoo, I just published last month my horror short story of 29 pages
and it’s the first for a series. The Harvesters (Harvesting Series #1). I'm actually having a Giveaway right now for it! I also
love to read them, plus, I have met some really nice indie authors too.
T: I think it’s great. It’s a great way to get your name out
there.
How do you feel about banned books? Do you
have a favorite?
A & T: Okay, banned books. I
honestly never heard of them till I started blogging however I don’t know any
that are, haha. But my take on it is there better be a good reason for it to be
banned. If not then why do it. Yes, some books should be viewed only by a
certain age group so if the parents don’t want their kids to read those certain
books then they should do something about it. And if you don’t want that book
in your store then don’t order it. I don’t know, to me it seems a little silly.
Like I said, it’s mainly up to the parents and the book store owners, you know.
Are you for or against books being made into
movies?
A & T: No, I’m not against them. I’m
just in fear of them if I’ve read the book before knowing about the movies. I’ve
also loved the movie and then went to the book, loving the movie more than the
written pages sometimes. It just all depends on the directors, producers, the
cast they choose, and what not.
Top 3 things on your bucket list?
A: Own my own book store, sneak
into a graveyard at night (yea, I know. I’m creepy, haha), and being able to
dance without a care of anyone watching me, haha! (these are just what came to
mind, though I actually have a five year bucket list written down J)
T: Finish and publish my book, go skydiving, and see a
Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau field. I’m a big Packers and football fan.
Thanks for stopping by!

Nice answers! I agree that banning books is a little silly. If you don't like the book, don't buy it, but don't keep other people from buying it. I've got skydiving on my bucket list too! Cool! Good luck with your book!
ReplyDeleteMy Saturday Situation
@Alexia- Exactly, on the banned books. My point exactly, haha. ^_^

@Vicki- Yes, owning a bookstore is like the next step for an addict of books! ^_^
ReplyDeleteOmg, that sound like creeptastically fun. Then again, I love halloween and horror movies. So of course I would think that, haha! Thanks for the little story!
And thanks for stopping by!
Oooh sneak into a graveyard at night? I'll join you, lol.
ReplyDeleteI won't join you for sky diving though.
My KMB
@Vonnie- I know, doesn't it sound like fun! The more the merry haha. And yea, my sister is crazy for wanting to jump out of a safe airplane haha.

I haven't been to Applebee's in awhile, but they are always good.

ReplyDeleteSneak into a graveyard at night - love it! I'd love to do something like that, too. I find them more peaceful than creepy, although I probably wouldn't say that at midnight with a full moon.
