~Summary~

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

~My Thoughts~

Why did this have to end? Seriously, why?!?!
This book was just so swoon worthy that I never wanted it to end. Even though I was devouring it, getting close to the end, I never wanted the page count to stop. Never! Anna and the French Kiss is one of those books where you know you should savor it but you just can’t help yourself from reading chapter after chapter. Stephanie, this is my top pick for 2013 and that's saying a lot since this is a contemporary book. I'm more known for reading paranormal books while contemporary books scare me away haha.
It’s an absolute favorite and I have high hopes that Isla and the Happily Ever After, is going to be just as fantastic as this one. I read Lola and the Boy Next Door last year. If I actually read them in order, Lola would have fallen completely short compared to Anna. It just didn't have the same charisma as this one.
Anyways, this book had me smiling the whole entire time and that has never happened before. At the end of the day my cheeks were so sore from smiling at these amazing characters. It’s been awhile since I have truly fallen in love with characters. In just a few pages in I knew I'd be swooning after them. I knew my heart would just melt as these two characters fell in love with each other. This book has pleased my hopeless romantic heart and I can't wait to pick this book up again. If you ever want to see how falling in love can be like then pick up this book. It is so real, it'll just make you want to go to Paris yourself and find your own English man.
Everything about this book (the realism, the characters, the city, the love) made me want to drop all my responsibilities and forget the world around me so I could stay in the sweet, romantic world Stephanie had created. Seriously, in one day I read 160+ pages. That has never happened before! With everything I do in a day, after 100 pages my eyes can become tired and strained. But this book.....this book just made me want to forget. This book was written so smoothly, so clear, so beautifully that my eyes never got tired. I just kept turning the pages and before you know it I'm almost to 200 pages in a day. That day, July 5, I wanted to stay up all night to read it. I so badly did but I couldn't cause I had errands to run for my mom haha. If I didn't though, I would have and no book has ever made me feel strongly to doing so. Ugh, this book was just so good.....epic....fantastic.....breathtaking!!
I want more of Anna and St. Clair! (by the way, they stole the show in Lola) Their developing relationship was just so mesmerizing, so real and true that I just couldn't get enough. Even when they had obstacles and they were fighting, I just couldn't look away. And the secondary characters were just as great. They were just as real and I can't wait to see Josh's story! The scene where he and St. Clair get drunk is absolutely hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing out loud and smiling. That's another thing about this book, throughout there were many laugh out loud moments and that's a first for me. And the humor wasn't forced. Stephanie did a great job where it came out smoothly and real, which is why this is another reason why I just love this book. It’s just so real!
Overall even though this is a contemporary (and most times we just don't get along) I was sitting on the edge the whole entire time. Not once was I bored. It truly is magical for hooking a gal like me that loves the beast that go bump in the night.

  1. I loved this one also! I haven't gotten the chance to read Lola and The Boy Next Door yet, but I hope to soon!
