Summary

A captivating and witty dark fantasy that will have girls lusting after it.
Morgan Sparks has always known that she and her boyfriend, Cam, are made for each other. But when Cam’s cousin Pip comes to stay with the family, Cam seems depressed. Finally Cam confesses to Morgan what’s going on: Cam is a fairy. The night he was born, fairies came down and switched him with a healthy human boy. Nobody expected Cam to live, and nobody expected his biological brother, heir to the fairy throne, to die. But both things happened, and now the fairies want Cam back to take his rightful place as Fairy King.

Even as Cam physically changes, becoming more miserable each day, he and Morgan pledge to fool the fairies and stay together forever. But by the time Cam has to decide once and for all what to do, Morgan’s no longer sure what’s best for everyone, or whether her and Cam’s love can weather an uncertain future.

With my many trips to the library my eyes would catch the spine for this book and I would just stare at it, but never picking it up. It was one of those books where I was intrigued but not dying to get my hands on it. So, one trip I surprised myself when it was the first book I laid eyes on and took it from the bookshelf’s grasp.
What also surprised me about this book was the main character. She had this ability I had no idea about. No idea! Morgan, well she’s physic and nowhere in that summary has it said so. So, no wonder I was a bit surprised at this element of this book. Yes, once I got to the big picture of why she was I understood this plot twist a little bit better but when this element is hardly talked about in the middle of the book it just felt like the author just threw it in the beginning to give this character some personality. That’s what I felt like throughout most of the book and that feeling disappointed me.
Along with this, Morgan, it took me a little bit to warm up to her. She acted all high and mighty, so it got to me but when things started to change within her boyfriend that’s when we got to see the real her.  When they both went through these changes, Cam into his fairy form and Morgan having to deal with it, the notion where he’ll have to leave forever on their 16 birthday, and a new boy in the picture….it is truly heart breaking and captivating at the same time.  Because of this the last few chapters of this book was so breath taking and sitting on the edge of your seat, that it’ll make this an overall enjoyable read.
Oh and that ending, my oh my, it’ll have you rethink of the whole entire book and have you going wow! Just…wow! I also loved Cam’s birthday present to her, another heart breaking moment and that present, if my babes got it for me my heart would flutter right out of my chest. <3
Overall, this was a likeable read and with the short chapters it felt like you actually accomplished something haha. ^_^ I recommend to anyone who loves stories with fairies or just the paranormal side of things. Cause this one will sure hold your grasps.
~Cover Talk~
The cover is simple, yes, but it says so much and it gets straight to the point of what this book is all about. I also love the colors and the way it just seems to shimmer a little bit.

Happy Reading Everybody!
