Summary

THERE'S A GIRL.
Justina Griffith was never the girl who dreamed of going to prom. Designer dresses and strappy heels? Not her thing. That said, she never expected her best friend, Ian Clark, to ask her.

AND THERE'S A BOY.
Ian, who always passed her the baseball bat, handle first.

Ian, who knew exactly when she needed red licorice.

Ian, who promised her the most amazing night at prom.

THEN THERE'S A DITCH.
But when Justina is ditched, figuratively and literally, she must piece together--stain-by-stain on her thrift store dress--exactly how she ended up dateless...with only the help of some opinionated ladies at the 7-Eleven.

To get the whole store, Justina will have to face the boy who ditched her. Can losing out at her prom ultimately lead to finding true love?

Okay, from now on once in a while I'm going to change up my reviews cause I'm really having a bad case of Reviewers Block -_- Sucks? Yes. But I'm hoping this new thing I'm doing will help that out *crosses fingers*

Okay, now for the review-

Cheesy Word: Hooked

Pros:

This is a fun light hearted story
The sweet little romance will sweep you away
The adventures you go on with the main character and her friends are a blast and they will put a smile on any ones face
The characters are fun and they all know how to stand out in their own ways
The book is written well and you'll just want to stay in this world once you finish the last page
And the ending was exactly what I was hoping for ^_^

Cons:

The main character, Justina- Always, always jumping to a conclusion before getting all her facts straighten out first, about half way through the book it started to get a little old and I just wanted to shake this girl and scream "Wake up!"

Overall, there's more pros than cons so whoopy, haha. The book was great, like the scene where her dress zipper comes off and how two girls, that are fun because they don't go to this stuck up school like the main character does, actually finds an unusual way to fix it. That was....interesting. Haha, all I have to say is it deals with something a stoner would use, though I promise it isn't what you are thinking. I most definitely recommend this book to anyone and of all ages!

Happy Reading Everybody!

  1. This one was a cute and fun read!!! All her little disasters and adventures were hilarious but she did jump to conclusions a lot. But she was vulnerable and I can kind of understand being scared. It was a nice ending!
