{Giveaway} Six month Anniversary for The Harvesters!

~Re-edited and better than ever~

So a while back it was brought to my attention that my short story needed a bit of editing, I couldn’t decide between past or present tense and so the story just couldn’t flow right. While I got feedback from Ali’s ~Ginger-Read Reviews~ daughter a truth came out from my #1 editor. While my editor was editing someone told them to go easy on me, not overly critique it and because of that I didn’t notice the change of past and present tense in my writing. I don’t blame my editor in the least bit and I’m just glad that I found this out before it got too late in the game haha.

Anyways, I followed the feedback and now it’s more kickass than before. So thank you guys so much! I honestly needed that ^_^.

There are some new scenes, action packed of course and a little bit of new info. Now sadly Kindle Publishing has changed and my awesomesauce font for my headings and what not, didn’t get transferred over and I am absolutely sad. So I’ll have to look more into that. But besides that step back it’s all running good and is ready to be read by all bookworm horror fans!

Now the story (just in case you happen to be new -_^)….

~The Harvesters~

The Harvesters (Harvesting Series #1) by Ashley Hill

~Summary~

When she finds her boyfriend shackled to a white metal table Ashley feared for the worse.

On a small trip of dropping off a package for Jason’s father, the young couple never thought they would be running for their lives. Running away from supposedly friends whom in turned to be a family of harvesters.

Human harvesters and they are looking for something specific. And Ashley just might be the perfect match for that something.

And guess what? For this awesome thriller, edge of your seat horror it's only going for....

.... .99 cents! ;)

How can you not beat that!

Still not sold, eh! Well here are some awesome words from Tiffany over at Book Cover Justice

~Quotes~

"The Harvesters is the first in a new short story horror series. Even though it is less than 30 pages, don't let that fool you. This story packs a punch."

"The story is written well and the pacing is perfect, especially for such a short story. There's a lot of action, but there is also time for the characters to think back about what got them in this situation in the first place."

If those words didn't sell you yet then how about an awesome Giveaway!

~Giveaway~

A bloody good time with a hook on the side…

Since the last giveaway for my story went so well I decided to up it by adding four more copies, that way I can spread the horror around!

Also, here’s some stuff about me ^_^

Ashley Hill

I'm a college student still trying to get a handle of the adult world. When I need to get away from it I lose myself in books, my own writing, and in spending time with my amazing boyfriend which he supports me to no end.

Finding my passion in books has led me to finding a passion in writing my own fictional stories back in 2009, I have turned this into a dream career and going one step further I would love to open up my own book store.

Now a song that kind of gives a hint to a certain someone….

….but I’m damn well positive you'll never guess it right

If you want to know what the meaning of this song has anything to do with my short story you’ll just have to buy it! Yes, I am evil...

Good luck to all!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Horroriversary Everybody!

  4. I don't really watch much horror. I really like horror short stories though! My favourites include The Strangers and No End House. Both can be found by googling the title followed by "creepypasta" :)
