Daring You To Read (17)....The Heir Chronicles & Thirteen Reasons Why

Daring You To Read is a brand new meme by Tynga's Reviews. Is where you choose a book you’ve read, loved and would dare your readers to read! The book you choose must be an older release (at least 6 months ago), because let’s be honest, we’re all quite aware of the latest releases.

The Heir Chronicles by Cinda Williams Chima

Goodreads for The Warrior Heir The Wizard Heir The Dragon Heir

My mom got me the first one, The Warrior Heir, a few years ago. I started reading it and quickly fell in love with it, the characters and the concept. I quickly got the next two.

There's a lot of fighting, action, and magic in the series. They're good reads and I'm pretty sure you will like, if not love, the books, too. That's why I'm daring you to read this series.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

Summary

Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers thirteen cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker, his classmate and crush who committed suicide two weeks earlier.

On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out how he made the list.

Through Hannah and Clay's dual narratives, debut author Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.

I haven't yet finish reading it but....OhMiGod, it's amazing.

Jay Asher is showing us the side we never really get to see when one decides to kill themselves. And I believe every single person in the world needs to read this book. Especially teens of today.

This book will leave a mark on your heart and you'll carry it with you throughout the rest of your life. It'll most definitely make you think twice about your actions. And it also shows you that what you do may seem small to you but to another person, it might mean life or death.

Sadly, this stuff happens in the world and it's sad to see that most of the reason why is because of other teens bulling teens.

So, if you haven't read this yet (and I doubt that you haven't, I'm a little slow to the crowd) I dare you guys to read this.

Happy Reading Everybody!
